When do you think Ferentz will pull the plug on coaching?

With Meyer deciding to step down, it wonders to me if Ferentz has had the same thoughts as to say the 'hell with it' I don't need this.

Trying to control 85+ kids a year along with recruiting and working almost 24 hours a day can leave you burnt out. I know I have with my career. How about any of you?

I think he will pull the plug when someone stops paying him 3.3 million to chew gum and make notes.

Well, considering he just signed an extension earlier this year...

Honestly though, I doubt he'll retire anytime soon. Meyer was a different case; he had only been in Florida for 6 years and had that whole scare with chest pains at the end of last season. Ferentz has been in Iowa since the 80s (even though he was gone for much of the 90s) and currently has a son on the team. I can't imagine a guy like him, after coaching 2 other sons, pulling the plug before James graduates.
