When do Season Ticket Renewals come out?

Me? I order mine in May. For a cool sum of $155

God I love being a student! I even have to attend an extra semester to get my hours, so I'll get a 5th set of half-price tickets :D

TM- Wish you could have experienced the "old" student section. My first year at Iowa was the final year of the old location (2004). When we got moved in 2005 it just did not feel the same. If I remember right, the old student section stretched to the 30 or 35 yard line.

I posted this in another thread but this is probably the perfect place for it...what does everyone think about tickets for the Husker game?

This will obviously be a hot ticket and I suspect most season ticket holders will put in a request for tickets. It will be the hottest and toughest road ticket in quite some time. Very few tickets for Iowa fans will be available outside of the allotment unless you are willing to spend $$$ on stubhub or have a Husker connection.

I have been contemplating moving up from a Silver to Golden Hawk anyway...I think a GH level would be enough to guarantee me tickets to this game but maybe not. What I-Club level do you guys think tickets will fall to? Golden? Silver? I cannot imagine lower than Silver. Thoughts?

My dad and I are planning on going through Stubhub or something to get tickets for Nebraska. That's only about a 200-mile drive from home, and that's a stadium that we've both really wanted to see. I've got a nice little "bucket list" of stadiums that I want to see a game in, and Memorial Stadium is definitely high on the list.

Agree, it is a must see game and stadium. I have relatives an hour away from Lincoln so all i need is tickets :)

I first got on campus in 2008. I wasn't even aware that the student section had been moved at the time. 3 of the 4 games I'd been to before, the student had been in the NW corner, and I wasn't paying attention to that when I went to the Wisky game in '06. So when I showed up for the Maine game, that's where I went to sit. I was on about the 5 yard line, maybe 10 rows up. Not great, but not awful seats. And I got to meet Chad Greenway, as he was on the sideline right in front of my section.

Then 2 old ladies showed up at halftime and informed me that I was in one of their seats. Two years later, and that still blows my mind. You SHOW UP to a game at halftime when everyone else is LEAVING at half? Still, makes for a funny story :)

I don't mind the new section, though. It actually gives me a pretty good perch to take pictures when I'm not wandering around the stadium to get different shots.

I have been to Memorial Stadium twice. Two seasons ago I went to the Texas Tech game and Nebraska got rolled. This past season I went to the Missouri game and it was a fun time. I don't really see how it is that special of a place. It seats like 15k more than Kinnick but Kinnick is just as loud if not louder. Tailgating in Iowa City is a lot better IMO.

Do I have a shot at getting the entire home schedule this year? I suppose I could always ante up and donate more.
