What's your Favorits BEAT DOWN of Connie ??

1) Drew Tate's butt kicking of 'sconsin for the Big Ten title, at Kinnick.

2) Shonn Greene rambling, rolling, running rough-shod at Kinnick

3) Razor, Bob Sanders and Nate Kaeding punking the badjerks at
Madison.......2002?

1996, there was a lot of Ron Dayne talk, but Iowa stuffed him and blew them out! The defense played lights out!

Wasnt that the Sedrick Shaw game where he lit them up with great Off Line blocking?

'Twas, indeed. 31-0. Sedrick had a rather impressive day, had a great finish to his career, with great games against Minny and Texas Tech (outclassing Tech's Byron Hanspard, who had gone over 2000 yards, but was a non-factor in the bowl game).

Don't care what the score was, but really enjoyed Iowa beating that pos Barry in his final game as full time coach

You have just proven yourself a troll. I wen't to the Iowa/Wisc games in 2001, 2002, and 2003. I can remember the 2002 game very distinctly since it was a day before my birthday, I was home on leave for the first time and I bought a new gold Hawkeye sweater at Iowa Book on my way to the game. I remember thinking, what if Iowa loses this game…then I laughed and thought impossible-we are superior and it's at Kinnick where we were invincible. And I was right.

And to answer your question my favorite beatdown was the 2003 game. I was in the corner of the end zone when the final plays of the game happened. I believe it was Solomon that made a huge catch to put us into scoring pos to win the game. It was great because I had a drunk (understated) Wisc fan next to me talking **** all game long and he had nothing to say after that play.

1. 2004 game. Michigan lost, so Connie had a Rose Bowl in their grasp, and what a great game at Kinnick!
Great hearing the "Big Ten Champs" at the end of the game.

2. 2005 game in Madison. Barry Alvarez' last game (at the time) as head coach.
I was envisioning 1999, all over again, prior to that game, but Mitch King was on fire.

3. 2003 game in Madison in the sleet, rain and a little snow.
Nathan Chandler was brutal in the first half, but that Kaeding 50-yard FG in the cold, gave us 2nd half momentum.

4. 2009 game. Ohio State lost to Purdue and wasn't sure if we could've been in sole possession of first place, but we were solid in Madison.

There have been some good ones mentioned, but for me it's the 2004 game, and it's not really even close. Given what was on the line, the atmosphere, etc.

A troll? I'm an IOWA alumnus, who has held Season Tickets for over
25 years. I'm Graduate status on HN.

What's your claim to fame? You were once a backup singer in
Dweasel Zappa's cover band?

Shonn Greene, you rarely see one man make a whole defense quit but that day the Connie D quit.

I can't believe god allowed that to happen.

Oh yeah, I was at the 2003 games also, upper deck first rows right on the goal line in SE corner where the big 4th down stop occurred. A lot of big mouth Wisky fans who thought they were going to clobber the hawks.

But also a lot of Wisky fans grumbling about Barry A.

And if you remember yes the weather was bad and Barry tried to freeze Kaeding at the end of the first half and Nate just drilled that 50 yd fg. Then nate went running around on the field pointing over at the Wisky sideline. luved it Nate the Great Assassin .

The defense was great. And Barry and the badger offense was brutal in clock management when they got to 1st and goal in the last minute. We were laughing at the irony of clock mismanagement but we didnt know the future of KF.
