What's up with Marble's playing time

It seems like the last couple of games his minutes have been way down. Has he not been playing that well? DJK has registered almost as much court time as he has this month.

Could be nursing an injury or something, I don't know. I like his game though.
One thought for tonight's game, I want to see no fouls on Brommer 30+ feet away from the basket after he switches on a screen.

While you're at it, can you put in a request for no snow this winter, temps never getting below freezing, and any other thing that is virtually impossible to not happen. :)

To the original point, I think Marble's PT is based on game to game circumstances. Fran's demonstrated not having a set rotation of players, but one based on the specific game being played. I think this will be more of an up and down game, so I won't be surprised to see Marble playing more.

aren't you the sports writer from Fort Dodge that hates Jon Miller?

Dude why on earth would The Dodge need a sports writer? If such a position exists it's got to be the journalism equivilent of excile or some sort of punishment.

"Dude did you hear about that columnist who got caught banging the editors daughter? "

"Yeah man he's screwed for life, I heard they sent him to The Dodge to be the sports writer there"

"Ohh man thats terrible!".

To answer the question though we might find that Cully's injury actually decreases Marlbes PT a bit. Now that he's the only scholarship option that can really play the point he's probably not going to see a ton of minuites at the SG position as we need to use him to give Cartwright a blow (not the DJK kind) now and then. We need him a) to be fresh when he does this, and b) not to get hurt as if he does we are screwed.

In some cases an injury can actually decrease PT.

I was wondering the same thing the other night. The kid can play. We're not in too bad of shape as far as gaurds/ small forwards go.

I don't know if this answers your question but against UNI when Gatens was out for a little we went with

Cartwright
May
McCabe
Basabe
Cole

I think Jeebus is right, it's all about matchups. It looks like Fran has shortened the bench significantly the past couple of games too.
