Just assume that anyone with the last name of Ferentz is no longer with the program
Kirk is paid $7m per year plus I’m sure a few other incentives. He’s top 15 in the country in terms of coaching salaries.
Iowa has the dollars to pay for most, if not all, coaching candidates that would be interested in making a move to the B1G.
Norm Parker will likely be gone in this scenario. He’s old, likely will have loyalty, and most likely won’t want to learn the game if football all over again with a different HC philosophy.
So who do we go and get?

Mark Stoops is making more at KY than Ferentz is at Iowa but what’s a few million amongst friends?
Jonathan Smith from Oregon State? Adds a little left coast recruiting and his team is stuck in a conference that basically no longer exists. Not an exciting situation but would be decent
