What would you ask Ferentz at today's presser?

It's Tuesday; assume Kirk will be meeting with reporters inside Fort Kinnick. Knowing what he has said in the past and following the Purdue game, and that he's likely to be in full snort mode, what would you ask him today?

How close are we to getting this guy?

How do you account for the lack of improvement this season?
What will you do differently this week? Next week? Next season?

Greg Davis is supposedly very good at working with the talent he has, but why have we not seen any adjustments to JVB's strengths that we saw last year? Also, why in the world do you even run a route for 0 yards when it is 4th and 3?

Kirk, If you have to gain 3 yards for a first down and you throw a pass for 1 yard, how many yards do you have left?

ZERO! BECAUSE THE OTHER TEAM GETS THE BALL!

1. You stated after the Purdue game you were "out-coached". What adjustments do you and your staff make to prevent this again in the final two games?
1 (b). Are these needed adjustments in the game plan you prepare or player preparation (i.e. execution).

Coach, why arent you using the most basic pass pattern in football, the simple stop pattern or comeback pattern, you know where the receiver runs down 7 yards , 3 strides stops and comes back 2 yds to the ball to gain 5 yards on 3rd and 4 or 4th and 3? Where the receiver uses his body to ward off the defender and he is a stationary target.

Do you know what stagnation is? Complacency? How to evaluate in-game performance?

"Now that, for all intents and purposes, you will not have the extra 15 practices that come with a bowl invitation, and, that, since the time you publically claimed JVB gives your team the best chance to win he has produced zero wins, will you use the remainder of the season to build toward next season, particularly at the QB position, but, generally toward developing and utilizing your players' strengths.

Other than that, I have no interest in anything that comes out of the Corporal's mouth. It's to time to speak with noticeable action that gives the fanbase reason to stay invested.

Can you explain why this is (arguably) the only year one of your teams has regressed during the season? Can it be explained away by a few key injuries or is there more to it.

He'd never answer but I'd try it anyway.

"Since you're not living up to your end of the deal... how much of a donation will you be making back to the athletic department?"

Nothing, because I no longer care to listen to his voice, I would sit there and eat a cheeseburger then get up in the middle of it and leave.

On the last offensive play, can you explain what the ideal outcome was? Does its success rely on the defender falling down or getting a really bad tummyache before the ball is thrown?
