What was THE play of the game?

Ya, that was probably it, as it resulted in the win. But the TD to send it into overtime certainly competes!

Did you see anyone else to pass to?

No...and neither did JVB. Because more than half the time he was locking onto the receiver right away. It wasn't because he was always going through his progressions and being forced to throw a 3 yd pass. That did happen, but not every time.

He had a horrible game, but he's always been that way on the road. Let's hope this win gives him some confidence. Sometimes it just takes winning a game like this to get you out of your funk. Hopefully it does because if we can get even average play from him, we could make some noise this year.

The major issues before halftime that caused MSU to run the clock out at half was pretty big too.

The 2nd and 26 pass to Davis changed the game. Great throw; great catch.

Vandenberg actually throws the deep ball pretty well (strong arm). We need to throw the ball down the field and give up on the dinks and doinks

I voted/liked Herkyattack's nomination for the KD pass on 2nd and long, but I'd also like to throw Mark Weisman's big 30+ yard dash on 3rd down (same drive, I think).
The offense had been struggling all day (to put it nicely), the drive seemed to be stalling out, we were fighting the clock, we were outside FG range, and needed a spark. Enter the Hebrew Hammer, and boom... game changer.

What would you say THE KEY play of the game was?

the play or series of the game was the hawk defense holding msu to a field goal which made the score only 13-6 rather than 17-6.

I dont think the hawks could come back from 11 down with 5-6 minutes to go in the game.
