What was Hayden's last great win

1996 vs Penn St? They were ranked something like 6 or 8. Nobody expected iowa to get close.

anyone want to take a shot at this? flame out?

Take your pick from 1996: Penn St, Wisky, or Texas Tech all were good wins . Penn St was a great win against a 11-2 team. Was that the game Tim Dwight ran back a punt about 80 yards.

Could have been but Iowa fell just short against the Michigan team that won the national championship in 97. Iowa led 21-7 at halftime and ended up losing 28-24.

That same 1997 Iowa team did beat a Purdue team 35-17, a Purdue team that ended up finishing 9-3. Nobody, including me, remembers anything about that game, so maybe that was not considered a great win.

1998 vs Northwestern, it was good to break the streak. The 98 game against Michigan was so close. That would have been an epic win in the rain.
1997 vs Minnesota was great too.
I was at the 1997 Tulsa game, that was great too.
I predicted Iowa to beat Pedo State in 1996, that win was epic!
The 1995 win over Washington in the Sun Bowl was tremendous too!

Oh my forgot about that Tulsa game. Iowa flew down the day of the game

That Tulsa game was also when Fry had many players using tennis type shoes/small nubby cleats because he said he was tired of all the knee injuries on bad astroturf. The hawks just got pushed around.

I don't really remember this game but unless I'm mistaken this team was the first B1G team to not play Ohio St and Michigan in the same season. I remember being livid that Iowa had to play both on the road that year and Purdue didn't have to play either period.

I LOVED these uniforms.
Sorry, but Reebok does better with football jerseys than Nike, in both college and the NFL.

I didn't think they were too bad, either. Except that they could lose the "Iowa" above the numbers. We don't need that, we are Iowa for God's sake--everyone knows who we are by our helmets.

A great improvement over the Apex jerseys that preceded the 97 jerseys.

All that said, I think I'd go with the existing jerseys over the 97 jerseys.
