What the... Pacquiao lost??

I didn't even know that Bradley had been given the fight until 30 minutes later via a friend on facebook, and I thought he was joking!

I watched the fight using the free link from a post on here. Once fight ended I went right to bed, thinking it was a no brainer. I think the result of this fight has ended my Boxing watching days. Bradley was being outclassed in every phase of this fight.

No, I watched the fight..Pacquiao kicked his butt all 12 rounds, except maybe round 10? But... turned the channel before the results because I didn't need confirmation. IT WAS BORING. There is no judge who isn't on the take that would have said Bradley won this fight.. Boxing needs help.

Agree and that is exactly my thoughts as well.

Sad if a sport needs to cheat it's own to draw interest in. I honestly think Boxing is going to be hurt big time by the events of last nights results. IMO it will take the Big Fight to not kill the sport, unless of course it didn't already die with that result!!

I agree. This is a reason for me too, plus the all around excitement of UFC and more knockouts has it for me.

How about all that excitement when they wrestle?
Seems to me, most MMA wrestlers don't have effective submission moves.

C. Liddell didn't even want to wrestle.

That is true, the least exciting part to me is when they're on the ground. That is unless they're both black belts in jiu jitsu and try to make moves for submissions. Sometimes they lay there and play patty cake and rest on each other.

If I were Bradley, I think i'd give my belt back. Would anyone else?

No chance in he!! would I give a belt back.

I do find it funny that only 2 people on the face of the earth thought Bradley won that fight, -- and neither of them are Bradley!

After watching the tapes, i think I'd want a rematch if I was Bradley so I felt like I deserved it. Bradley can even see the injustice.

I used to follow boxing like I follow the beloved Hawks. Sad to see how far the sport has fallen. Didn't see this fight, and I'm glad I didn't as it sounds like I would be incredibly ticked off.

This really could be a turning point for boxing, and a wake up call. But with how poorly its run, it will more likely be the deathblow for many fans.

Bob Arum refuses Pacquiao-Bradley rematch, wants investigation into scoring controversy - Yahoo! Sports

What is funny is the one judge who scored the fight for Bradley, honestly thinks he can defend his decesion.. Dude needs never to judge a fight ever again.

He said if you went round by round Bradley won. Ha that is a joke, most everyone had Manny winning at least 10 rounds. Also did you see Bradley's managers quote?

"They said that just because the X-ray did not show a fracture didn't mean there isn't one," Dunkin said. "He has a lot of pain on the top of the foot and there are 700 bones in there. Some of them are so small. The doctor said the only way to tell if there is a fracture is to do an MRI."

700 bones in the foot? pssh Please, there 206 bones in the human body. Guy doesn't know what he is talking about.

Well to be fair maybe he meant it was broken into 700 pieces?

They were perhaps annoyed that he delayed it, but I think that they wanted that so more viewers would tune in. Also, maybe they didn't like his whole new religion thing... Alot of people don't like religion and sports crossing over. That is a stretch though i'll admit.

There was another pretty good boxer that was adamant about religion. Ali. Maybe you've heard of him.

Could be a stress fracture is my guess.

the boxer is quoted as saying he felt something pop in his in the 2nd round. that doesn't necessarily have to indicate a bone break, and an xray isn't going to be the test to determine all structural damage - i'd guess he'll get an mri to be conclusive - from ringtv:

RingTV.com: So what is the condition of your feet?

TB: Well, you should see me. I'm sitting here, and I've got two bandages over my feet. There are splints on both of my freaking ankles. I went to the the hospital because of my ankles.

But I have two splints. I've got one on my right ankle and another on my left foot. There is a splint on the top part of my left foot where the left foot is really bad.

I've got a sprain on the right one, but the left one is really bad because I heard a pop on the top part of my foot like a bone moved or something. So, I fought through all of that.

RingTV.com: What was the diagnosis?

TB: They couldn't really come to a conclusion. They didn't do an MRI. They said that the bones were so small that they couldn't really see anything.

They did a CAT scan and they said that they couldn't really see anything. They couldn't see a fractur or anything like that. But they said that you could have some torn ligaments or torn ligaments in your foot.

On both side. So I need to stay off of my feet and that's pretty much it. They said that you need to go and get an MRI done and get more detail. So, man, I'm in a wheelchair.

Looks like he does have a fracture in his foot. Though he may have technically "won" the fight, he looks like he got the worst end of it. Broken left foot, and a sprained right ankle. Geez, Manny sent shock waves down his body.
