What the heck Dish Network!

Apparently Fox wants more money. One hell of a time to start this crap. Can’t they negotiate some kind of deal at least until the end of basketball season. I feel like this is a heavy handed approach to trying to renegotiate a new contract. Hope they can work out something. You can call Fox at 212-852-7000 to voice your opinion.

That’s when they start it all the time.

Football. Most watched TV. And Fall lineup.

That’s the reason it’s happening now. They want to leverage Dish into a more expensive deal because of football.

The main reason cable and dish providers ar so high is because of netwrok
Has removed Big Ten Network and Fox Sports.

They'll probably raise your monthly rates to boot;)

I have ImOn Cable in E. IA. The past 4-5 years, every December they send me this bogus letter in the mail (it's the exact letter every time) saying they will have to raise my rates at the start of the new year. My contract ends in March and I have no plans on resigning with ImOn.

I’ve been recently thinking about cutting the cable, this is only gonna speed up the process. After further info gathering, it is Dish network that dropped Fox, not the other way around. Now I’m dropping Dish Network. Besides, I’m getting tired of the daily reboots to my system. It is so aggravating. It’s time to cut the cable. YouTube TV here I come!

Fox and Dish phone call: Hey, let’s get together and agree to drop a bunch of football off the air. Then, after some outrage from customers, we can settle the dispute by raising both of our rates. Consumers are dumb losers!

I have already cut the cord earlier this year. I really enjoy the sports on Youtubetv. I have been hesitant of investing in an outdoor antenna due to the expense and limited to maybe 20-30 channels I would receive. Next year I might add the antenna so if the networks do the same to Youtubetv.

Got Utube Tv and I am mostly happy, dvr service, most sports channels, occasional blackout games. Whatever I can’t get on that I Reddit.

I'm whispering to you "what are they waiting for?"
Not exaggerating when I say I can’t think of a single reason why anyone would stay with Dish or cable.

If someone is willing to put up with triple the monthly price, equipment rental, contracts, sales tax, local option taxes, surcharges, unreliability, and network blackout wars just so their wives can have Hallmark, well...I guess I’ll just say I don’t understand it.

I'm thinking of going utubetv. any major. anyone have it and have problems?
YouTube tv and Hulu are almost identical in channel lineup, the only difference is YTTV is five bucks more a month. I have Hulu and have had zero problems. I love it.
