If ISU beats Texas they deserve to be ranked IMO, but there will be a lot of 1 loss teams with media love. Isn't 2 loss FSU still ranked? Jeepers voters, admit you were wrong about FSU being a NC contender and move on.

If Iowa beats PSU, there is a slight chance a 4-1 Iowa team is ranked as it is Week # 6 and will be alot of 1 and 2 loss teams by then and Iowa has some street cred. We beat NW week 7 and are 5-1 then we will be ranked.

ISU may be a big underdog but I think they have enough talent to beat Texas this weekend. With the exception of the Iowa game every year, this has got to be the biggest football game that ISU has played in decades. They know what's on the line and they have a fairly decent team. It will probably be the only ISU game that I will ever watch outside of the vs Iowa games.

UNI is decent @ 2-1
Iowa is decent @ 2-1
UConn is decent @ 2-2

There's always a chance and I really like that Texas is -9.5 right now. Money line should pay around 2.5 to 1.


Keep in mind that Texas has played UCLA (2-2), BYU (2-2), & Rice (1-2). Not exactly teams worthy of their high ranking considering they started the season ranked alongside the likes of ISU.
