What needs to happen for Iowa to have a chance to win on Saturday

So you are saying we need a six sigma event to win this game.

Yes,I really think we have a 1 in a 100 chance. Everything will have to fall perfect for the hawks to win.

OSU turns the ball over on the short field and we click to get TDs, they press from behind and make mistakes, miss a FG, miss a 4th down, that is about the only way.

Now if for some reason every blocking decision the hawks make in their zone blocking is perfect we could effectively run the ball also

they aren't unbeatable but we have to continue to play tough on defense but our offense is going to have to do a lot better than they did against MSU or we will get smoked....

Something similar to this...

I had almost forgotten about this. Johnny Lowdermilk's father played for Ohio State, he also lived in Ohio. Thie is a major recruiting success for Iowa to get a guy that people would have expected to have played for OSU. Maybe he was turned off by all the recruiting violations there and wanted to play for a clean program I'm not sure but he was a great pick up. He should be be pumped for Saturday. I think he'll have a big game!

Ok, now I know you're a troll.

No it's true, they talked about it on Hawkeye Huddle. His dad played for OSU in the early 80s, and had a long career in the NFL. I remember hearing about that when Iowa got him, but I had almost forgotten before they refreshed my memory.

A little editing correction for you, nick. Also a little advice for our sake ... Please lay-off the sugar! Between your delusional, baseless, desparate assessments and olddude's "phophecies" about mates' perfections and Dave being a God, it's really testing our sanity.

The only chance I see is if Iowa plays as if there's nothing to lose. All out from start to finish. No chicken**t punting away inside OSU territory. Everyone knows Iowa's record against them no matter who's coaching. Force turnovers and pressure Miller all day. Don't let up. Just go for it.

TL; DR

What needs to happen for Iowa to win is a massive crime spree that gets OSU's entire two deep suspended hours before kickoff. But of course, if that were to happen, Urban would sound like Johnny Cochran proclaiming the innocence of his players so really incarceration is our only hope.

Hah hah. In all seriousness, a very poor Purdue team went into Columbus last year and came within ONE PLAY of defeating Ohio State (Ohio St. scored on the LAST PLAY of the game to take it into overtime). If Iowa plays extremely well and Ohio State plays with no emotion (like they did last year against Purdue), an upset could happen. Ohio St. will not take Iowa seriously.

Will it happen? Probably not. Could it happen? Absolutely
