What is with Campbell's refusal to say Iowa?

Heard him again last night say....."That team out West." He had no trouble saying UNI, but can't string out the words for us. Must be some little brother syndrome seeping into him.

Who cares. Let him/them wallow in their pettiness. He's not even original in that other coaches have done similar things. They aren't worth our time to get riled up over something like that. On to PSU

I say let him keep doing it. And wondering why everyone calls his team little brother.

The more we laugh at and make fun of their bottom feeder program the madder he's going to get.

I'm presuming you meant to write the team out "east". There must be some loyalty oath required to be taken at TOESU. Campbell seems to have bought into it.

Why do you even care? This is such a non-story that it isn't even funny. He is acting in a manner that will satisfy his fan base. So what?

Like it or not yup. Look ahead not back. Don't be scurred. (lame attempt at being cool)
I used a week's vacation going out to PA for last years game and watched us get folded up like a lawn chair. I want this game bad.

I've never been out that way how was the rest of the experience? I think the players that had their asses handed to them last yr want it bad too. Barkleys quotes about us quitting or however he worded that are all over the locker room I'm sure.

1) The setting was kind of odd and not what I expected. The town is sort of out in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of two lane roads coming into it (there is an interstate through the north side but not the direction we were coming from; really small town. Felt extremely rural which surprised me.

2) Nicest people I've ever met at an away game, period. Not exaggerating. My buddy and I were treated like rock stars and I've never taken so many selfies before. People thanked us everywhere we went for coming and literally walked up to us with beers. It would have been the most ideal non-Kinnick football game I've been to if not for the rapey cloud hanging over the program and the (albeit few) people who overtly still worshiped Paterno. That made it sort of weird.

FYI the drive up from southern PA is one of the most beautiful routes I've ever been on as well, if you're into that sort of thing. I recommend the experience if for nothing else than seeing that huge ass-stadium and the surrounding area.

Wtf, is he talking Nebraska? We are east of previous little L'ames Campbell, get the direction right at least, good gravy, idiot

Nice try; this not referring to another team by name is campbell's imitation of some famed coaches from Ohio State and Michigan. Therefore, copying other B1G schools.

Speaking of campbell's cap bill that looks like an ingrown toenail, now that's a new one for campbell.

Here's a few quotes I found about an overly curved cap bill:
* "The super curved look was popular with college crowds in the 90s, even then I felt it was trying too hard".
* "Very curved = was trendy about... 15(?) years ago".
* "Very-curved brims means you're from the '90s".
* "Super-curved = redneck".
* "I say gently curved. It's what happens naturally when a hat gets broken in. The super curved look was popular
with college crowds in the 90s, even then I felt it was trying too hard".
* "So yeah, gently curved".
