What is more frustrating?

Ok, I get that. It's a pride thing though I don't think there is a clear cut best player when it comes to any of our post players and if there is anyone that it would effect negatively, I think it would effect Basabe if he was benched.

How can it effect him any worse? He plays with no energy if he gets off to bad start and is a non-factor 90% of the time

I see no downside to him coming off the bench...maybe he would actually play hard for a change

My only thought is that Fran is just not comfortable starting anyone else, if Basabe starts off well, he plays solid, if he doesn't, he is pulled quickly anyhow. Fran believes in his starters and he hasn't changed them a whole lot in two seasons, unless there is an injury.

It's frustrating and a very tough situation. If he gets his act together he is very valuable. Fran might thing that if he benches him, he loses him for good and we just can't afford that at all. If you bench him and he struggles you lose, if he continues to start and struggles you lose. It's tough.

After 6 horrible games in a row its time for a change

When you score 2 points or less in 4 of 6 games and average 2.5 rebounds in that span its hard to rationalize why you are still starting

Time to try a new route to light a fire under him
