What is compelling Texas?

Though I like the way you're thinking here, it will never, ever happen. The BigTen HQ has a sign out front of its head quarters it says "You must be 'this' tall to enter". We don't want to babysit.

Agree... very good point. Just wishful thinking and it would nice to see some pressure applied to Texas.

In the end, I believe Texas is going to stay put. I truly believe that they would rather remain the big fish in their pond, rather than risk actually having to cooperate with conference members. If Texas stays, ND remains independant. The Big Ten will then stay at twelve teams, because any other expansion will only happen if ND is a part of it, IMO.

Right now this is what I am thinking as well.
