Let's just hope that Nick Neari has been paying attention to what the staff wants on both ends of the floor as I still believe he may be the wildcard in this year's mix. However, if the inevitable did occur and both got hurt or fouled out, I would consider the following and hope the parts are relatively interchangeable within the system. May has already been involved in the press break and he's been asked to bring the ball upcourt a few times so the biggest question would be whether or not he can learn the offense well enough to dictate the offense to the rest of the team. He might not be quick enough to take his man off the dribble but at PG he would be big enough to create major mismatches down low if they could post him up.

Ummmmm why wouldnt Tucker be at point?? Considering he already fills in when Payne is resting.

It'd be a set back, but in a season where we aren't set to do much it could just help our players who have lesser roles grow more. But we need Payne to develop the most right now so it'd be a bigger hit to see him out.

To be fair, at this point Tucker has only been suspended indefinitely due to the recent public intox this past weekend. However, since I did not know how long that might be or whether there is truth to rumors of him transferring, etc. I simply left him out of the mix.

I am beyond the point of worrying about such scenarios. The team will be horribly outmanned almost every night out, with or without foul trouble. The cruel joke that is now Iowa basketball will only be made more so if the staff does, in fact, redshirt Archie.

EXACTLY. Which is my Dumb F--- Tuck needs to be shown the door. Every opportunity he's been given to NOT think of himself he's failed. Now the team suffers because of his *******. And this is the 3rd time he's done it.
