There was a recent joking mention of Marcellus being a potential HN poster from Illinois who bashes the hawks
It made me think he would have been a senior with Brunner and Horner and with Haluska, Wow that could have been a great team with no chance of losing a huge lead to NW Lousiana.
The story I heard was after his freshman year he wanted more assurance of minutes and alford wouldnt say yes. That is weird since you could tell he was the best athlete and player on the team. Sort of like knowing Ricky Davis and Tyler Smith are your best players as freshman.
I remember the SI cover of Marcellus as he took Bradley to sweet sixteen and I think he averaged 20+ points his senior year. He would have made that hawk team great.
