What Does The Sugar Bowl Tell Us?

It tells me that a TCU, Cincy, Boise St. should not be playing each other in a BCS game! I am over not going to the Fiesta Bowl, but Iowa should have played one of the three in the Fiesta, Florida should have played one of the three in the Sugar and Georgia Tech should have played one of the three in the Orange Bowl.

Cincy obviously was no match for Florida, and now the winner of the Fiesta Bowl will make some sort of claim of a national championship when the probably do not deserve it??? I think the game last night and the Fiesta bowl are a bad reflection on the BCS as a whole!

I think cincy's showing undercuts any case Boise or Tcu wants to make. Or at least Boise. With the way the mountain west has played in bowls tcu's performance this year is looking good. I still think that these two woul lose at least two games in the big ten and sec

I think TCU is legit...Boise MIGHT be...but that's a huge "might" as they might just be "Mountain Time Zone Cinci"...TCU though, is who's getting the shaft out of this deal. Think their dominating D wouldn't like to have had a shot at Florida on national television?

I think the game last night told us more about Florida then it did Boise, Cinncy and TCU... I still believe that the Gators were the best team all season and if they played Alabama 100 times i think they win 60. Sometimes the best team doesnt win the Super Bowl/National Title etc... I think this is one of those years. Im sure Cinncy is a pretty good team most saturday afternoons, but they werent on Friday Night. I think we saw the best team in college football last night and they have noone to blame but themselves that they arent playing for the national title next week.

If you want to believe that TCU doesn't deserve a shot at the NC because of Cincy's performance? Ok, whatever.

But for what little it's worth, the Big East is 2-2 in their bowl games, the Mountain West is 4-0. That 4-0 includes two wins over the Pac-10 in BYU stomping Oregon St and Utah beating Cal, as well as Air Force stomping Houston.

TCU may have been a better match up for for Florida as Cincy's defense has been suspect all year long. An even better case of why those three, Boise, TCU and Cincy should not play each other. I think Iowa to the Orange was all about putting butts in the seats. A Georgia Tech vs. Boise/TCU/Cincy would have been a horrible draw for attendance. Still I don't think the BCS will change as there is too much money involved in the entire system!

This is exactly why TCU should have at least been playing in the sugar if not the national title game. My point is, if TCU wins the fiesta, they will most certainly make a claim for the national championship.

If the non BCS teams are one or two in the final BCS rankings, than rightly so they should play in the BCS Title game. If they are not, they should not be playing each other in a BCS game! Unless of course it would be in the BCS championship game???

This game told the nation what much of us already knew - that the Cincy defense isn't all that skippy and a coaching transition can simply kill a team.

THe game showed me that both teams dont know how to just go out and play. They must have cheap shots and must be taunting on every play and they must run their mouth even after being down by 30 points. I hate watching Florida play because they are the cockiest team in AMerica. It wouldnt be bad if they just make the tackle and go back to the huddle but they taunt the other team and they trash talk and they cheap show teams.....just my opinion though
