What does everyone think of this??

Hyde should NOT be moved to safety, IMO. Having 2 good corners will only make it easier on the safeties. We can plug a new safety in easier than we can a new corner.

Actually we have more depth at corner than safety, so moving hyde to S and plugging a capable replacement sounds like a good move to me. Safety is harder for someone with no experience to play than corner.

Could Lowery or Castillo make the switch to safety? I mean Hyde played very well at corner, do we really want to mess that up? But with the depth at corner and the lack of depth at safety, a switch by someone would make sense.

Doesn't bernstine factor in there somewhere if healthy?

KF sounded optimistic about Bernstine contributing this year,so I say he is the logical guy at safety. Castillo and Lowery can flip between cb and saftey....that group of 6 should be pretty good, imo. Worried about LB and DT...but the secondary should be good. Maybe work in Nico Law or another true frosh for depth.

I believe when you take the on field performance of JB in the bowl game and put it together with KF's presser talk it equals JB not having done much since the Rhabdo incident.
It looks like praise to pump him up,motivation to get on the 2 deeps and a non judgement due to inability to workout.
There will be alot of things changing on the 2 deeps with the Fr coming in and the R13 back working out.

I like Hyde's ability to make plays as a safety. The chances of him taking a few to the house are really good after a few over throws!
