I mean, what coach would want his QB to throw the ball downfield time after time after time into man-to-man coverage? There's just too much to go wrong and it's too big of a gamble to do that man when you're playing such an important game.

So, NOOOO, he shouldn't see the field next year.

It's the sure-fire 3-6 yard passes matriculating down the field that drives defenses crazy.

Honest question how is anybody else in the conference supposed to compete with OSU? Meyer's recruits from his recent highly rated classes are just now getting playing time, so the team is only going to get better. What is anyone supposed to do?!

If he's smart he'll handle it the "Iowa" way. In January 2014 Iowa had Sokol/Shimonek/CJB on the roster. By December all 3 were going or gone. THAT's how you run a successful program! Quite frankly Iowa has too much depth. We ran off a Parade AA running back but we kept our walk-on FB/RB. Don't tell me we don't have our priorities straight.
