Let's see. Iowa called timeouts to stop the clock. Stoops ran the QB. Iowa didn't tackle the QB. The QB made a TD run.
I only have respect for Stoops at this point.

Actually, that is the preferred good sportsmanship play. What did you want him to do, take a knee? Also, kicking a FG right there has too much possible risk.

They didn't call the play expecting a touchdown, they were trying to run the clock out and Iowa said "eff you, were letting you score"

Dude, give it up. You are way wrong.
What would you expect him to do different? You run it up the middle, get the 1st down and then run out the clock. But if you run the ole defense, that is what happens.

OU did the right thing. Take a knee, and you turn it over and stop the clock. I've been on the short end of similar situations, and it's always more humiliating when your opponent pities you like that.
They had zero expectation of that play going the distance.
I'm realxed. I just can't stand little wussies who get mad when the other team scores because we don't tackle their QB.
Play a full 60 minutes. That's all I'm sayin.
