SEC East obviously has some solid teams, but so do other conferences too!! Nebby show's that the big ten has some depth too.

I know that Nebraska beat MSU but they got incredibly lucky, which is about time MSU's luck ran out.`I still think the top 3 in the East (OSU, MSU, Mich) are better than the top 3 of the West (Iowa, Wisc, NW).

People that think the teams should be broken up because of historical competitiveness are just not thinking things all the way through.

Over time who is good changes... only Ohio State seems some what immune. Nearly all other teams have had good runs and bad runs.

Michigan State was nothing for decades... Penn State used to be a power house and no they are just meh
Wisconsin wasn't any good until the last two decades.

Northwestern used to be horrible... Nebraska was a national champion powerhouse.

It goes on and on... going by geographical location is the most logical way to go.

What's better for the Big Ten, forming and keeping rivalries together or historical competitiveness? Even TV prefers the rivalries and that protected rival thing they used to do was stupid. One division being stronger over the other is just something for people to ***** about, the divisions make sense the way they are right now.

Yet Cyclone fans will still claim how weak the B1G west is, and they still try to claim the B1G is bad as a whole, which is completely false. B1G > Big 12. The Big 12 has 4 good to really good teams and...nothing else.
