UNI is pretty darn good this year and will make the dance. Dang good coach. Enjoy the ride....

Keep winning, helps our resume. Heck, Gessell was a starting pg for the #10 team in the country last year....then...things happened. Just keep winning so you keep coming here, you're fun.

I've got news for you, Troll Boy... there's not an Iowa guard I'd trade for Washpun. And I'd hardly call it a recruiting miss. Washpun was already seriously committed to TN before Fran arrived. We saw how that worked out...

Oh... and Wes would be getting 6 to 8 mpg as a Hawk... but we'd enjoy the occasional highlight!

I'd stop using I'd if I'd be you because it's not really a word. And....iowa will never be a relevant Big 10 team if they continue to have guards that are on their current roster. They suck.

I'd stop using the word relevant, since UNI will never be relevant because they are a Mid Major from Da Valley.
 
Did UNI beat Drake last night and then fall yet again in the RPI rankings? SoS of 151...ouch. well done MVC

It does get a little old .. the entire how great UNI's players are.

If people really think our issue is not having UNI level talent on our roster... then I don't even..


People do know that Iowa has a 33-11 record all time series vs UNI?

Nope, we actually moved up to #17. Can't really control who is in our league. Plus you need to consider iowa is on our schedule.

We are talking about this year not the past. The only time people care about the past is when the present sucks. iowa doesn't have UNI talent because if they did they wouldn't have 9 losses.

I checked 3 sites and they all have UNI at #19. pretty sad for a 2 loss team.

I also saw your BFF Wes Washpun had another one of his solid 2 points/2 turnover games against lowly Drake.

Couldn't let this one slide. 1) the present doesn't suck, it's not great, but far from sucking. 2) do you think Iowa would have 9 losses in the MVC, and played your ooc?

I find it weird that Iowa fans call UNI irrelevent when UNI beat them by 12 head to head on a neutral court and held them to 15 points in the second half. Get a clue Iowa is the 3rd fiddle basketball team in the state this year.
