Wes Bunting of NFFP has Reiff #6

If I was Bulaga I would be a little ticked off. His final Iowa season was head and shoulders above what Reiff just put together, and he barely cracked the first round. Reiff did not look dominant at all for large stretches in a lot of games.

Jesus, did you even watch any of the games that year?

Bulaga had a TERRIBLE season, and didn't even play for half of it. Reiff was the better player even then.

Get a clue.

They played on very different teams. Also Bulaga missed 3 or 4 games that year and health was a concern for him. Also I doubt he's too ticked off. he does have a super bowl ring already and on his way to #2 (I hope). Won't get that if you're drafted early.

Also, I think it might have to do with a higher demand for good O-Linemen this year. I could be wrong, but from I have noticed... A lot of teams are really struggling on the OL front... and the teams with a good OL are winning games.

A few teams that I have watched where I thought the OL was unimpressive to awful (off the top of my head):
-Jets
-Vikes
-Jacksonville
-Seattle (really struggled for most of the season)

The only other teams I have really watched are the Lions, Packers, and Patriots. So I'm sure there are other teams in need of a decent/good OL.

Like I said, I could be way off base, but that is my opinion from what I have seen, which I'll admit isn't a whole lot.

2. Boffeli has taken reps at guard, has good size and will be entering his fourth season on campus. He will certainly be in the mix at guard next season. Iowa's best offensive lines have generally had at least 6 quality players, and this unit will have three to four players with solid returning experience. Competition usually brings out the best in the offensive line.

Boffeli was a TE coming to Iowa, now up to weight, should be 300 next year, I understand he is one of the top three lineman in terms of athleticism joining Rieff and Gettis. We need Tobin and Scherff playing at a high level next year with one of them starting at left tackle (Rieff will be gone). It would be great to have Tobin put on 5 to 10 lbs but that may be a struggle. A healthy Nolan MacMillan would be a bonus.

wow, i didnt that he was THAT good but i dont evaluate nfl talent for a living so I will side with this guy vs my loly opinion. If he is going to go that high, he should go.
