I haven't seen a performance like that from Jarryd since probably pre-knee injury freshman year.

He was a beast. Plain and simple. Good to see.
 
Stormin I agree. Nothing different from a skill standpoint, but man did he hustle his *** off last night. I give some credit to Fran because someone had to light that fire. Let's hope we see that effort consistently going forward.

I missed not having the game chat last night and take that silly Wrigley picture down. It's December Wrigley is closed.

The thing about Cole last night was he was aggressive and getting up. Really elevated last night.
 
Effort like he gave last night can be contagious and you could tell the crowd really appreciated it. It is good leadership by example. He was just getting after it in everything he did. I remember once when Fran told him to go into the game when he was on the bench and he jumped out of his seat like he was shot out of a cannon.
 
It was great to see. He seemed to be getting to a lot of balls above the rim. He was just going up and getting them.
 
He is ALMOST back to his freshman form!!!! But seriously, Jarryd is a true hawk that deserves to have a great season. The kid has been through so much with this program and its great to see him coming out and playing with passion and giving this season everything he's got. His emotions for this season is something that will be able to carry this team to some BIG upset wins this year. GO HAWKS!
 
Feel really bad for him. Hasn't been the same since and it was such a freak deal. I had to go back and watch it to remember exactly what happened. Can't help but notice how much quicker and more explosive he looked. Hope he has a great senior year. He deserves it.
