We are 9-3 when Weisman get 20+ carries. That's including 3-2 in terrible 2012 when we had almost no passing game. Even in 2012 I'm sure we beat Indiana and Purdue if he played instead of Bullock.
We are #1 in the Big Ten in 4th down conversions, mostly thanks to Weisman. It's no accident Weisman is approaching the rushing TDs record. He is extremely talented in short yardage and an all around good rb. He really isn't suited for the stretch play though. The coaches could have been more creative there.
Update: we are now 10-3 when Weisman gets 20+ carries. Weisman added 3 tds so he's at 29 tds, only 4 tds aways from the record at 33. He absolutely deserves to be there. He has a nose for the end-zone.
