Weekend Update on 2010 Recruits

I haven't had a chance to put it all together, but like I said last week, my wife is letting me out of the house to go watch Ben Brust this morning at 12:00 at Jacobs High School.

However, after doing my daily chicagotribune.com read I found this picture from last night and thought I'd share. I will try to update on all the recruits tonight. If I can't get it done, I will do it tomorrow since the Bears are horrible.

Come on Hooper. You're better than that. If anyone knows, it should be you, that dunking doesn't make you a good athlete. I'm not arguing that Brust isn't a good athlete either. But that's a poor argument.

What? He dunked, so what most DI players can dunk... I don't understand what you are talking about.

DI players are athletic, it's about relative athletic ability ie.. how do they compare to who they are playing againt.

Brust hit nine of his first ten shots last nite in a Mundelein loss to Stevenson. Brust committed his 4th foul 90 seconds into the second half and sat until the 4th qtr.
He ended up with 22 points in a 67-65 loss. Mundelein is now 4-3(1-3) this year...clearly, Ben is their workhorse and they are not great this year.
