^^^^^This is crazy talk. They will win 7 or more games this year. Is this a special season or is it a ho hum trip to the Mayo bowl? Are we jacked about hosting a playoff game, in Kinnick, in December or we just rolling our eyes that we have to play in the Snoop Dogg-Gin and Juice Bowl?

Despite the ISU debacle, even Kirk realizes this season has a sense of urgency to it. Otherwise, Kirk wouldn’t have been super grumpy at the Tuesday press conference.
