Week 14 B1G Bowl Projections - espn

This is the 100th anniversary of the Rose Bowl, and they desperately want a Big Ten vs Pac 12 matchup. MSU will be in unless they get totally hammered.
 
Winebrenner Red Carpet Travel put up, in this order, their bowl trips. Outback, BWW and Gator. They almost always know before anyone else. This is what I'd bank on, although BWW before Gator isn't in the program's best interest for an east coast start time and recruiting audience.

Totally agree, MSU lost close on the road at notre dame and has big wins over Iowa (and this win looks better now), nebby, mich, minnesota, even if some of their wins havent been big blow outs.

If they lose their second game to a #2 OSU team they wont drop much.

NIU doesnt belong in the top 14

How accurate can that be? I know that every year I am flipping like a mad man between all the bowls and unless the Hawks are playing, I settle on the best game at that moment and then flip during the commercials. Isn't that how everyone watches bowl games?
 
I think we will end up in the Outback bowl. It would be nice to see Iowa get the chance to beat the Cocks.
 
SI.com has it's bowl projection with Iowa in the Outback against Texas A&M. Would be a real tough matchup ffor our defense.

If it's against SC, what better what for Scherff to go up against the potential top pick in Clowney
 
I booked a flight to Tampa after Iowa beat Nebby and before Wisky lost to PSU. Hoping for Outback. I had my mind made up I was skipping any bowl games this year, but the Outback is too good to pass up.

I'm hoping South Carolina plays Oregon State as I would prefer to watch the Cocks pound the Beavers.

I definitely hope we don't play A&M. That would not be a good matchup for us. If Jordan Lynch can make our defense look bad just imagine Manziel out there scrambling around. No thanks.

Personally I think Manziel would absolutely destroy our defense.

But for those that think the Hawks are back, what better way then to play against one of the top players in the nation? The B1G is a down year, and we beat the bad to average teams. This would be a good test to see how much we've improved.
 
I still think MSU to the Rose, is a lock, if MSU is in the Top 14.
Wisky to CapOne and Iowa to Outback.

IMO, Lil Debbie would bring more fans to Tampa this New Years, as they have never played in Tampa....
...but I think the Outback doesn't want to tick off Iowa fans, since they have been very loyal to them after the 2003, 2005 and 2008 seasons.

South Carolina were great fans at the 2009 Outback Bowl, but brought about 5K fewer fans than Iowa.
This would be as much as Iowa not playing USC than repeating a previous year matchup.

great athletes of LSU would destroy Iowa a few years back, too..
Iowa hit'em square in the mouth. Iowa's "d" this year could possibly do the same.
Bring the loud mouth little turd on..

You might want to check and see how much it would cost to change your ticket from Tampa to Jacksonville.

Nobody knows nuttin. This guy has OSU losing to MSU, and Auburn in the NC game. He has Mizzou in the Cotton Bowl, and LSU in the Outback Bowl, which makes no sense with the Cotton having last shot at an East SEC team with a first shot at a West SEC team....they will not pass on LSU. BWW wants Nebby to play Texas.

Now, Iowa could end up in the Gator, but they will not be passed on by the Outback for Nebby, who is a cold team with an angry fanbase, who will only get excited about playing their old arch-rivals OU or Texas. As I said, it will be a wild scramble on Sunday but Iowa will do fine.
