Tech as 21 - TWENTY ONE - returning starters!!! Plus they play a type of style of offense that Iowa traditionally struggles with, especially with a young and inexperienced defense could cause some early problems.

Iowa's going to look rusty with all the new moving parts and when 2nd team defense comes in mid-3rd TT will take advantage.

Keep in mind that Kirk doesn't care about point spreads, he will be more focused on experience and finding out who will be his guys this season. 18 point victory is a "blowout" in his mind.

Vandenberg throws just enough passes to get the job done, but hands the ball off alot.

It will be interesting to see if JVB has the green light to check out of a running play early in the game. The only chance TT has is to load the box and either stuff the run or try to get to the QB.

I am hoping that the offensive line dominates and Coker gets 100+ yards in the first half. Then the backup comes in and gets another 100+ yards.

Iowa offense struggles as it's early and play calling is kind of typical where we will run and run and run even if it's not working. WR struggle with drops as it's their first live action (minus McNutt).

Defense does just enough to hold them, but DL struggles to put any pressure on QB due to fast pace offense.

The offensive line and Coker's size will intimidate them early. Vandenberg will hit a couple play actions and put up points early. I'm curious to see how our defense looks against their up tempo offense. I suspect they start slowly, allowing a TD early on and get into a groove as the game goes on, eventually stopping them from scoring at all in the second half.
