Was checking out a preview of game and they said forecast was heavy rain Fridayand Saturday. Although warmer

Ordinarily I would say helps Iowa but with the tough loss eliminating us from the race and Iowa’s west coast history not sure it matters

Are they eliminated completely? I have been seeing a small glimmer of hope that they could still be pulled in. Maybe I’m off. I’d don’t think rain will be an issue after the last game.

I saw something on TikTok, so take it for what its worth, but it said we had something like a 21% chance if we win out to make the playoffs so we'd definitely need some help along the way. That said I have no idea where those numbers came from so very easily could have been pulled directly out of his ass. So who knows!!!

Its not 21%, but its not 0%. Let's win out and then we can wring our hands about it. Iowa generally does not play well in this particular stadium, and USC is a talented team, especially on offense.

Lots of really improbable things that are 100% out of our control would have to happen.

Like, winning the Powerball and on the same day being cured of rabies, odds.

I expected Iowa to lose against Oregon and being at the stadium it was a bummer for sure after we scored to go ahead.

But now it's pretty stress-free watching which I'm okay with. No monkey on anyone's back anymore and I can just watch and root without the playoff bullshit cloud hanging out right above IC.

I'm feeling the rain on this one. No buzz about Iowa this week. The Hawks switch back into being the hunter. Road trip to galvanize the team. No way USC fans show up in force with this system moving through Southern CA. This one is going to be about grit and motivation. Iowa is playing angry and feeling like they've left too much meat on the bone. They also have a ton of grown ass men who will be ready to play. They are gonna grind with that offensive line.

Hawks by a million.

I just keep telling myself if it was a symmetrical 16 team playoff like any normal tournament bracket on planet earth, the Hawks would be in for sure lol :)

National Weather Service forecast for Pasadena...good lord...

From 10pm Friday through Sunday they're forecast for over 3 and a half inches of rain. There's going to be absolutely no one in the stands.

3.5 inches of rain? That much makes me wonder if the game will be played.
Looks like the heaviest precip is supposed to be before kick, but still raining hard after. If they had an artificial field it'd be NBD, but with natural grass it's gonna be wild if the forecast holds...

I think there will likely be some pretty rough events in the area, including major mudslides. If the game isn't impacted, then totally agree that most folks aren't venturing out.
