OK didn't lose to just anyone. They lost to a particular coach that is good at that. Wisky at A OSU isn't shocking Georgia I ll give you...maybe.

Would like to think we ll see some style points next week.

I said before the year in posts when looking at the Big West Div that if NW couldnt fill thorsen's shoes they would be hurting.

Remember the last beatdown the hawks put on NW in 2015 Thorsen was a freshman and played like a hurried freshmen against Iowa's good D. NW doesnt have the horses on offense without that very good running and very creative QB.

I also thought Purdue would have trouble replacing Blough who was on and off his career but played very well his Sr season on just an avg Purdue team so I thought their offense would go down some. But wow if they have a healthy Rondale Moore and David Bell for two more years they could put up some impressive numbers.
 
Goodson definitely needs to get the ball in space. He is a weapon.

Iowa can beat Wisconsin but we can't turn it over and our defense is going to have to limit them to less than 14 points.

my wife went to Oklahoma State. Yesterday was a really good day since the Hawks won and the Pokes beat the clowns. But I digress, MOST OU fans are obnoxious. They somehow have combined little brother syndrome (from a statewide, non football related feeling towards Texas) and arrogance (because their football team is historically one of the best) to make a truly miserable combination of victim and jerk at the same time.

He may have been referring to Wisc losing as a 30 point favorite to Illinois. :) And Oklahoma was a 21.5 favorite at Kansas State (and were on a 22 game road winning streak over 5 seasons.).
 
I just watched Iowa’s 59 yard, 13 play drive. Goodson was solid. Passes kept us going. Line blocking was stellar, with some zone, some hat on hat. Now 17 - O. This was a drive that looked like Iowa, and against a solid D. Boy, would I like to see us continue this kind of attack.
 
Im going to be more positive. I shouldnt have been so pissy after a shut out win. I know our O sucks. and our D is awesome.

And here we are. 2 wins from a West championship and a visit in Indy.

Which would explain Toby Keith, who is a good recording artist who never hesitated to entertain our troops in harm's way in the Middle East for free but is by all accounts a pompous insufferable jimoke.
