Dayton Daily News giving the Iowa crowd some props last night:

"They began to cheer wildly when they were asked to stand for the National Anthem. It was a full-throated, deafening roar — for the National Anthem. Iowa hasn’t been to the postseason since 2006, and its fans were clearly appreciative of having basketball being played here in March... It probably was the toughest venue we played in all season long, other than maybe Xavier,” UD coach Archie Miller said after an 84-75 loss in the first round of the NIT. "We were coming into a bee’s nest."

It was absolutely deafening at times. My ears were ringing long after the drive home.

I like this part of the article:

Too easy: The Flyers were hammered in transition by the Hawkeyes — especially 6-8 forward Aaron White, who made the Big Ten all-freshman team.
The Cleveland native raced behind the defense for four baskets in the first half, two of them showtime dunks, on his way to a career-high 25 points.
“How did he get out of the state of Ohio,â€￾ Miller said. “Somebody has to explain that to me.â€￾

Did you get your height from your mom or your dad?

Just curious if she will be blocking some ducks view.

From Dad. I was wearing his Iowa letterman's ring at Carver last night. Wish he could have been there.

Mom is no slouch however at 5' 9".

That was awesome and I ask the same thing. Ohio State has to be really kicking themselves.

I was listening to the postgame last night on the radio and someone asked White if he ever considered Dayton or any of the other Ohio schools. His response was something like "not really if I did consider any of them it was Akron".

I expect Meyer to be out of a similar mold to White and if Fran can keep digging up these kinds of players we are going to be in for a fun ride.

The President was at Dayton Arena last night with the British PM, while they were getting rolled in IC. (trying to think of a joke, but coming up short)
