I just don't get out defense sometimes..... never seen so many people out of position to leave a wide open 3 point shot.

totally agree, you shouldnt be having woody and gabe hedging the screen 30 feet from the hoop and causing a scramble which leaves wide open opponent 3 pointers.

Especially against an offensively challenged opponent. just play tough assignment defense and quit helping when a teammate is not beat.

What screws us up is the post hedging on picks. It stretches us, makes us scramble, and leaves the perimeter open.

I've been of this opinion for some time. It's time Iowa made opponents beat then with the two point game. Cover the 3 and let the interior guys defend.
