We need to blow out our next 2 opponents

There is no getting around it, without an upset if the 3 teams ahead of us in the BCS. We need to blow out IU and NW to get some of these embiciles in the human polls to give us a better ranking. We have the computer in the bag now if we can get up to 3-4 in the harris poll and coaches i think we would have a great shot at #2 in the BCS. I agree a win is a win but if we really want title game we need to get these idiots that vote to give us the respect we deserve...

I agree with you, but it doesn't seem like this team can do that! The only blowout was the ISU game, and that was because Arnaud kept giving us a short field.
I wish for the same thing, but I've said "I think our O will finally come out of its shell this week" for the last 3 weeks, and it hasn't happened.

I agree a blowout would help, but that is not the personality of the team and coaching staff. With the injuries from the Michigan State game, let's see who can play first. I don't think Iowa will get extra points for blowing out NW and IND. The win at Ohio State will have the most cache (it would be nice to beat them better than USC did there). The Big 10 has not been out of the top 2 being undefeated and one of the 3 ahead of us will lose for sure. Patience.

I would love to see a blow out, but right now I am just hoping for a win. We are real banged up, plus you could expect some sort of emotional let down after the last three big games

Your right, I have just realized how injured we are. We may have Paki O'Meara in the 2 deeps at RB, disaster!!!!!!!!!!! We went from deep at RB to very thin in 1 game, we got beat on big time this past week, what a great win at a very high cost..........

Indiana is also limping into this game. I am not sure about their status for this week, but some have been out for awhile now. We should be able to take advantage of the secondary in this game.

I agree, we need to win by double digits in our remaining games. We need some separation between us and the want a b's behind us. Plus we need to stay close to the top three so we can step in when (not if) they stumble. Plus my heart needs a break!
