Everyone will be talking about Wisky and Gordon's record setting performance and no one will be giving us a chance. This is typically where KFs teams thrive.
Can't wait for Sat!

They are 3rd in the nation in rushing yards per game. In their 2 losses they got 268 and 284 rushing in those games. Wisconsin and Gordon are gonna get theirs on the ground, there is no doubt about that. The question is can the D hold them to FG instead of TD's and can the offense put up 30 points, cause that is what it will take to beat Wisky.
I agree Gordon is a class all his own.....
but out how does the rest of WI outclass us???
HawkPrdatr40;1360152[B said:]Anyone saying they like are chances really can't mean it.[/B] Wisconsin is better on both sides of the ball. Wisconsin is #1 in Total Defense and #15 in Total Offense. I have no idea how Iowa wins this game. I will be rooting for an ice storm or blizzard.
OP you mention this is where typical KF teams thrive, but this isn't one of those team. Actually far from it...
I do. Wisky QB play is that bad. If the Iowa O can do their part and get 17-21; MG can go off for 280 and Iowa still could have a chance to win. Difficult? Yes. As impossible as you are making sound? No.
Wisconsin was unstoppable in 2004 as well. Highly ranked and obliterating their opponents. Iowa killed them.
Gordon won't be stopped, but he can be slowed. Hold them to field goals and win the turnover battle. The defense will need their best game of the season. That is Iowa's only hope.
If old man Ferentz is serious about playing for another championship in the twilight of his career, then he had better have his best week of preparation ever. No room for mismanaging the clock this week. All hands on deck.
