We got the Best of the Bohannons

Let's let his career play out, but he does look like he should be. He clearly has a knack for late game situations. Hitting two straight threes and finding an open shooter (even if it is pemsl from the free throw line) at the buzzer. I really hope he continues progressing as he has this year. Glad to have him.

I guesss your missing my point if he hardly played the rest of his career... he would have had more big games than his brothers. His brothers were solid players but they never had games where they droped 25 pts 7 3's and 10 assists... let alone in consecutive games.

In my lifetime I can't recall a more dangerous Iowa PG. Averaging 12 assists per game in tourney games as a Freshman...are you kidding me. Plus his scoring capability, Yup I'm feeling like he is going to be flat out the best Iowa player (yes player) in the Fran era. Even if he loses his amazing shot and can never find the stroke again I will forever remember this last half of the season as the most impressive ever by an Iowa Freshman.

I hope this off season and throughout his career he works on strengthening himself and his overall fitness. He doesn't need to bulk up to 210 lbs and get all broad shouldered. I'm not so sure his frame would let him look like Andre Woolridge. But if he were to get even just a little bigger, stronger, and quicker holy cow..... The sky is the limit for what he'll accomplish as a college pg. Love his vision and overall feel for the game. He's already got a lot of that 'it' factor you can't coach or teach.

Given that Freshman didn't used to be able to play.....

The first that came to mind.
Iowa Big Ten 5.2 of 11.6 .449 FT 3.1 /4.4 .697 Total Points13.4

Ya unfortunately I was not alive to watch those guys. I'm sure we have had better or as good, but I just can't remember anyone with this dangerous of a skill set. When Jordan learns how to get into the lane more consistently, I really do think he could be the best I have ever seen (at Iowa).

I'm not just talking about freshman. I can't remember any PG that was as dangerous. Maybe Horner, but I feel like Jbo might already be a better passer then Horner was. Woolridge was great and as of now he was better at penetration, but was never as dangerous at shooting. That is already elite company. Time will tell, but hard for me to imagine Jbo ends up anything less than an all time Iowa great.

The best one two punch was Lester and Arnold though some on here probably remember Ralph Millers team.

What has stood out in Madness ix that when intense close games are on the line....a rocket point guard is what the winners have,. along with other rockets.

A rocket guard would really compliment him.

There seems to be a lot of them on tourney teams. Could you imagine JB playing with Michigans guard? M uses a 2 point guard system.

From Jon's Twitter.

Number of CBB players this year with at least 372 pts, 175 assists and 89 made three's; 3. Number of them in P5 leagues: 1..Jordan Bohannon

yet there are some people here that want Iowa to get someone else to play point.

I just wish they would have set JB up for the final shot last night instead of Pemsl who was 15 feet away from the basket.

It was poorly executed and NOT what they wanted to run, the look of confusion on Jok, Pemsl and Jordan's face at the end pretty much pointed that out. Shit happens in go time - lack of experience can be blamed. 5 OT's this year and Iowa was 2-3 in them - I think this team grows from that type of deal.

Come on man, why do you got to call us out? You have got to see the defensive shortcomings, it was glaring yesterday. If JB does continue to run the point, I'm guessing he will, hopefully whoever they put in that 2 spot can help shore this up or we will continue to struggle against good perimeter shooting teams.
