Right there with you. Don’t turn the ball over. Make some plays on offense. Get a turnover or two from Wisconsin. Get some good special teams play and come home with the trophy. Let’s go Hawks.I'm really going to look forward to next weeks game vs Wisky. As ugly as it might be, it will be interesting with so much riding on the outcome.
I'm one of those people. Yesterday's inability to complete throws was not the change I expected.I think everybody expected 5-1 but also expected the offense to be just a little bit better.
But after Hill goes 6-21 against Purdue with no completions to any WR, how can yo expect Iowa to score against Wisc? And if Iowa loses to Wisc, that may hand the division to Wisc.
The only thing that can save the team is the Iowa defense has to shut down Wisc's offense completely.

On the other hand, we have some big playmakers on offense, defense and special teams. Few fans ever think about what Iowa is going to do to our opponents.
Yeah, we heard a lot of that this past week, too. Since nearly 100% of your posts are negative and sarcastic about Iowa gotta think you may underestimate the extent of your anti-Iowa bias. You all are underestimating how much better Wisconsin is than Iowa. I think we have a 10% chance.
We could score on a couple of long runs, throw a TD pass on a great play call and a helluva throw by the Deacon. Throw in a couple of field goals. Maybe a score by the D, or the D turns WI over in our red zone for a cheap TD.I think everybody expected 5-1 but also expected the offense to be just a little bit better.

While "there's no one left on the schedule Iowa can't defeat" there's also no team in which we can say that can't beat Iowa as well based on what we've seen. While 90% of us thought we'd be 5-1 at this point we also thought we'd see an improved offense, offensive line, QB play, and a passing game in which our receivers were involved. We've yet to see any of that and I think that's why many of us are concerned and rightfully should be.90% of the fans thought we'd be; 5-1 with a very big game coming up. Why should anyone change their expectations?
Bucky will be tough but their offense has been all that impressive. No one left on the schedule that Iowa cannot defeat.
The O-line seemed to be coming together. I appreciated the timing of the pulls which seemed to open holes and Johnson hit them at the right time. Timing seems to be getting better.I'm one of those people. Yesterday's inability to complete throws was not the change I expected.

If Iowa at least has a running game, they might just be alright. Iowa suffers when they don't have a competent running game. Everything in Iowa's offense stems from the running game.
This sums up my 2 cents pretty well. I concur. Hell we aren't even making most of our FGs like we usually do. We had 1 blocked (it was going left anyway) and another he missed. This team is walking on the thinnest of thin lines. While "there's no one left on the schedule Iowa can't defeat" there's also no team in which we can say that can't beat Iowa as well based on what we've seen. All is well that ends well!!While I agree, the key at this point is really Erick All. If All goes down we are toast.
Agree. If he were to go down, all teams would have to do is really load the box to stop Johnson and company (Running game). While I agree, the key at this point is really Erick All. If All goes down we are toast.
LOLNothing new. We’re the ugliest girl at the party. Turn off the lights and let’s dance.
Coaching matters. KF has had two decades plus to institute his daffy duck system of winning games. Wisky's coaches, while good, are still instilling how they win with their new, and yes more talented, team. Iowa has more than a puncher's chance because they know the formula, as crazy as it is.You all are underestimating how much better Wisconsin is than Iowa. I think we have a 10% chance.
