Not really even a good team tonight. I liked our defensive intensity but losing a home game to a crippled msu team is f'ing pathetic. We need some leaders to step up. I think the osu game was a fluke - we still can't beat a ranked team. I will not be watching anymore games this year. I just get sick of the same sh*t over and over.

A good team....with just slightly better FT shooting...a very good team.

Doesn't make the losses, and the way we are losing, any less painful.

I love the effort, just wish we could shoot a little better...just a little !!!

I've said before we are not a great team but pretty close, as there are certain shots at certain moments which great teams make and we miss. Like an Aaron White 3 at the end of a nice run. Great teams make that shot and go ahead by 8, but we missed it, gave up a dunk at the other end, then missed a three, gave up a layup, missed a three, and gave up another layup, and suddenly we're losing. They've got 10 games to figure it out before the big stuff starts.

Same old s**t. Glad I quit watching after the MSU game. This team needs some leadership, some heart and by god some toughness (an ability to shoot would also help)

What this team needs is a set line-up and coaching staff that is interested in coaching the team. We are great at pointing out shaky calls and kicking the scorers bench. Another night where a timely TO and some coaching would of helped. Love intensity...but intensity is not what this team needs right now. Give me a solid combo of 8-9 guys, 3 other guys are after thoughts in big games only. Ride our ponies and let this team develop an identity.

You must be referring the the Lute era. This team is actually about right where is was at during most of the Davis era.

Middle of the pack in the conference.
Up and down style.
Struggles with a half-court identity
Shuffling players in and out
Plays hard
Doesn't guard the 3 point shot
Loses against team with athletic players

Here's my take... We have the pieces but that is the challenge of college bball is to get them all clicking at once.

McCabe and uthoff were playing better earlier in the year.

As of late Gabe is a monster and josh is shooting a higher percentage than years past.

If we can things to click at the right time, March could still be a lot of fun.

There aren't many teams that can win shooting the way we did from 3 and FT. But the truth is we just aren't a very good shooting team and that needs to improve and going back to what I said earlier... McCabe and Uthoff are guys that can really help that as well as Marbel hasn't been shooting as well from 3 as of late.
