Way to early predictions.

Iowa will be 9-3: We have a pretty easy schedule set up. We don't play a "TRUE" road game until our 6th game of the season. We play at IU, NW, Michigan, and Michigan St. on the road. I know JVB will have a year under his belt, but with our road woes, I believe we drop 2 of the 4 road games, with the possibility of all 4 road games. I believe we beat NW & IU on the road.

We get Penn State, Nebby, Minny, and Purdue at home. I see us losing to Michigan, MSU, and Nebby. I think we handle the rest of the teams. we will have an experienced QB back, we will have a RB (1st time in 3 years we are returning a starting runningback.) Plus I look for our defense to be better, I think the coaches will get the players turned around and get it going.

ISU will be 6-6

7-5 and 6-6......Whoever wins the head to head match up will have the 7-5 record.

Iowa will go 7-5 in the regular season. Historically, with an Iowa kid at quarterback that is about the best we can expect. 8-4 is the very maximum.

I agree with 1982... except we will give another one away. Probably NW on the road. 8-4. Could really see 6-6 or 10-2, though, if the play of the youngsters is at one extreme or the other.
