Thanks Rob for posting this. Fran was very gracious and complimentary to the other team.
At this point we have no idea how good they are because they were a scrapped together team. That makes it tough on their coach so got to give them credit for battling and making it a contest against last year’s Big Ten Conference Tournament Champs.
The first half wasn’t anything to write home about as our shots were not falling from the perimeter. The second half looked much better.
All things said it was a road victory and that is always a good thing. If I had any concerns it is the lack of size at the post positions. We.could use one more big bruiser underneath.
