Sitting here in the living room, tempted to go down to the Sports Column across from Coors Field. Was there last year for the Pitt and MSU game, great Hawkeye fan base there.
I decided not to go though. There is a reason why I haven't been to a bar to watch a Hawkeye game this year, and it dates back to 2002.
2002 ISU game.. I was at Joe's Place in Iowa City.
2003 MSU.. I was in East Lansing, at a sports bar.
2003 OSU.. I was in a Columbus bar.
2004 was at Jakes for the Michigan game. (only year I had season tickets, got to all the home games)
and So on...... Everytime I'm at a bar, Hawkeyes lose. Every time. I have not seen Iowa win a game while at a bar.
Lucky to all of you, I'm sitting in my living room, few buds coming over.
Everyone has these stories, anyone else want to waste a lil time??
