Pretty much lost all respect for the guy when he blind sided Chad Clifton and almost ended his career. Now even less respect, if that's possible.

1. With the name Sapp you start behind the eight ball to begin with.
2. You also begin behind the eight ball given the family, neighborhood and culture you grew up in.
3. You probably were a bit flamboyant and frivolous with millions of dollars to spend.. on mama, "friends" and "family" and hanger on-ers.
4. You actually spent the money and stimulated the economy.
5. Any one who lent Sapp the money to begin with were either foolish or could afford to loan it or both. Screw em... most of them were scum bag loan sharks or bankers or casino owners anyhow.

Yep, I believe the Jets also had to pay some of his child support payments so that he was current on them and could move to NYC when they signed him.
