Tired of all these dumb**** comments about schedules. A big part of having a high ranking SOS in the preseason is predicated on total luck. Check out Hoiberg's schedule. They played 3 good teams (Iowa, Cincinnati and UNLV) and lost to them all. Their best win was at home against BYU. The rest of their schedule was against total crap teams. They just happened to be total crap teams that had better records than the total crap teams Iowa played.
Middle tenn St. supposed had the 6th best non conference schedule in America. The three big games they
had were Florida, Belmond and Akron. That's wonderful, but their league is horrible so they have to go out of their league to play decent teams.
So Iowa, pay attention: Next year schedule Duke, Belmond and Akron. And remember, it doesn't matter if you win any of your tough games, just play them.
