Wait until Iowa loses

And the national media can say I told you so....

Won't matter even if the loss comes in the Big 10 title game, they'll claim we played a soft schedule and when we finally played OSU or MSU, we lost as expected.

I was just thinking that very thought....a landslide of "told ya so's", I wanna keep winning so they always have something to say about Iowa (every freakin day)

we aint losing, just wait until Iowa wins the championship game and Kirk tells ESPN to go f**k themselves, the only person granted a one on one interview will be Dolph

Agree, if we lose now it will be terrible listening to all these idiots. So i guess there is only one thing we can do....

Oh its going to be awful. I think everyone in the country right now is pulling against Iowa so they can brag that they were right. Somehow we've become the Yankees of college football.

I'll take the chance as this is a special season and they don't come along all too often. It's kind of getting fun playing the Villain role and watching everyone squirm. If they can somehow pull this off, it would be awesome having us fans & possible players telling the likes of SECPN and other to go **ck themselves.

No, Kirk would just say..."I know that ESPN and the national media has been down on us all year long, but that's football."

If Iowa loses to Ohio state in the big ten championship game, it'll get 30 seconds of commentary, before the experts move on to he great Alabama is for the next four hours.

In 2007, when Kansas was ranked #2, I don't remember the backlash, like we are seeing with Iowa, today.
Remember in 2007, Kansas didn't play #8 Texas, #20 Oklahoma or #22 Texas Tech, from the South, that season, in comparison, but
Iowa will play either Ohio State or Michigan, with an outside chance of Penn State and Michigan, next month.

how damn awesome would that be - or if he stands up at the presser and just says "Eat that *******" and literally drops the mic and walks out

Some would say "told you so" but some of those same guys would say they were with us all along if we go 13-0. Not all of 'em are honorable to say the least.

That's what I thought, they wouldn't spend a lot of time on it. Many on here act like the media would talk about it for 3 days. After mentioning it for about a day and Iowa would be an afterthought until next year. Wouldn't be that bad.

Somehow you are mad that they will have been completely correct in their assumption, if this scenario plays out? Would you rather they lie to you and tell you they're the best team ever?

Defense wins Championships, but now the sexiness of the offense and the "eye test" will determine who plays for it. Makes perfect sense. Amazing the eye test doesn't reflect close games to inferior opponents, miraculous finishes, and conferences that don't play defense. Wonder if its the same eye test used by the DOT to determine whether or not some one is legally blind.

This board is so crazy. Are we a playoff caliber team or a team that could lose to a team like Indiana? You can't be both.
