Who is Phillip Hawes? I see he wrestled 197 against kent st. instread of jerome ward. Does anyone know Ward got hurt?

Last year when Ward beat Keddy I thought that would spring him to some pretty big things. He looked like a really athletic and strong 184 pounder last year.

I think Hawes is a Juco transfer from Iowa Central. Not sure what Jackson was thinking but Ward did get to wrestle Kilgore in the finals of the Hokie Open. As is the case with Ward most of the time he really looked gassed in the third period. No injuries though pretty sure.
