Vintage Ferentz win

No doubt that playing NW is nerve-wracking with their non-stop offensive efficiency, but I will really enjoy this one on a second watch,as there was some great plays in this one, like Millers interception, the sack by Binns which caused the fumble and recovery by Bigach, the bombs to Marvin and Keenan, the bootleg by Vandy...the crushing bull on the loose runs by Marcus, ect.

Wins are just too hard to come by to not truly soak them in and enjoy to the fullest.
Great job by the coaches and players last nite!!

Winning by 3 points isn't going to get it done? I think that gets it done every Saturday, every Friday, and every Sunday.

I really don't understand some people. Seriously, we just kicked them in the teeth in the 4th quarter. Isn't that the whole point of football? To put yourself in a good position and then dominate a team at the end of the game?

So where was the team in the first three? That's my point.

I would like to see four quarters where this team is as dominant in the first three as it was in the last Saturday. We STILL have a major problem with mobile quarterbacks and a dink and dunk passing strategy.

Very happy for the win BUT you do realize, don't you, that take away the pick six, the difference in this game is a field goal. That's not going to get it done every Saturday....

Stop it. If you take away all their points we win by 41. The pick 6 happend, there's no taking it away so you can stop posting this in multiple threads.

20:00 into the game, we were up 17-0. You're basically saying we didn't dominate them for the full sixty minutes. Fair enough. Still, the game was over with 7:30 left. That, to me, is a pretty convincing win.

I don't really understand your concern about our ability to handle mobile quarterbacks who can dink and dunk. Who else on our schedule fits that description?

It was nice to see Iowa play to win instead of playing not to lose in the 4th. Huge credit to the staff.

I think it was at the end of the first half (not 100% sure though) but did you hear the fan on tv yell "play not to loose coach"? geez, that's why KF leaves....
