Pretty impressive building:

It's even nicer than I envisioned. Very impressive. Hard to imagine many other setups being better than what Iowa now has.

I remember seeing Oregon's facilities a couple years back, but these have to rival theirs. Pretty damn amazing. Heck, those kids get waited on hand and foot. Exceptional facilities.

Come on, coach, turn this thing around! These facilities are part of a winning hand.

Impressive. Couple thoughts....

Couldn't help feeling empty about the current state of the program
Crazy what the 'business' of College Football has become. Shameful actually
Both uniform mannequins were dark skin?
Everything inside is Hawkeye coordinated except the 'gray' Rubbermaid trash cans?

The next Head Coach is going to be inheriting some really nice facilities. The new facility is a testament to excellence - not the current mediocrity

Wow, more than I thought as well. They got hooked up very nicely. There is NO reason you can't haul in decent recruits when you are offered good academics and a very very VERY nice practice facility. Good lawd!

What's the point of having that little computer ledge? Did they forget about having a study room?

Yep, there are a few new facilities out there that are a bit bigger and have some "fancier finishes" but Iowa's facility is among upper tier for sure.

I will thank Kirk for playing a huge role in getting these facilities built. I do hope the next coach is more able to use them as a selling point to recruits.

Don't tell me the "IOWA job" isn't an attractive one for a hot young coach. Great facilities, great support. If a guy can recruit, he could build one hell of a program in Iowa City.

Hey look. Another thread taking something very cool, positive, even damnn impressive and spiraling into the same crap that every thread devolves to.

Awesome.

Who cares? Their results on the field and their offer list prior to Iowa swooping in and saving them from spending 4/5 years in Ypsilanti says it all.

They would probably care, although i would seriously doubt you would ever call them a MAC player to their face(I dont blame you).

Once they are Hawkeyes, regardless of how or why they are Hawkeyes, or who their coach is, I care.

I'd love to see recruiting improve and get the best talent possible, but once in the door, these players deserve our support, even if they are not the elite level recruits, and even you hate the coach.

Regarding the new football complex though, what this thread is about, that's pretty cool, huh?

You're a real hero Walker. I'm sure our guys sleep better at night knowing someone like you has their back.

But yeah, the new facility is pretty cool. Cool enough to keep us stocked with MAC recruits as long as your boy is here.
