VERY concerned...

if we get the Insight bowl against Ok State or Mizz. I do not see how we can stop either of these teams with our base 4-3. Then again, with 5 weeks to prepare, if we trot out our base 4-3 with 2nd string LB's to cover NFL caliber receivers, it may tell us everything we need to know about the future.

I live in Nebraska and by default see a fair amount of games by these teams (typically while I am cheering for them to beat the huskers). The both have quaterbacks that can throw and pick up first downs with their feet (sound familiar - NW, OSU). Big difference though, they also have 2+ receivers that are going to the NFL, and offenses that spread defenses.

Maybe 2 of the worst matchups we can get.

I agree they could be tough draws and couple that with us playing like absolute dog p!ss that could make for a tough game. However, lets also not forget that even though we had a rough finish to the year they are all games that we could have won. We rolled Mich St and had Wisconsin & Ohio State against the ropes. No excuses for the MN/NW loss. The same was said last year about our Orange Bowl match-up with GA Tech and how we wouldnt match up well. We know the out come there and I guess the point that I am trying to make is that we are not as bad as our record indicates and if KF can get these guys refocused again we know that he can prepare for a bowl game as good as any coach out there. Plus we will get Tarp, Nielsen, Robinson, Hyde, & Prater back from injury. I dont care who they put in front of us becuase when we are 'right' we can take down anyone. Plus something tells me that Stanzi, DJK & AC will want to go out in style. Atleast I hope this is the case.....

We are going to lose to whoever we play. These guys have quit and I don't see the Insight Bowl being the type of prize to get them to snap out of it.

The only chance we have of winning is KF finding a way to get this team back. Keep some at home, do some game planning, give his entire salary for the year back to the university, or something else. He needs to figure it out.

Oklahoma State would absolutely annihilate us. Justin Blackmon would have 200+ receiving yards and 2+ TD himself.
