Vandy is seeming to struggle a bit. Rudock looks solid.

Your not panicking are you:)? By the way, I'm sure every major program right now is having some struggles. We will be okay one way or the other.

Vandy had a beautiful 40 yard post corner to McNutt towards the end of 11 on 11. It was a great play fake, pump, and he laid it in there perfectly. McNutt got separation at the last moment and his momentum took him out at the 2. I thought to myself that I hope to see a whole lot of those this year. Vandy was fine.

I thought Weinke struggled a bit when I watched him. Derby didn't light anything on fire, but Rudock was smooth. Gonna be a lot of fun.

I thought Vandy looked just fine...and I liked what I see of Rudock for two years down the road.

There is a big time gap between Vandy and everyone else.

I think some of you took the context of this post wrong. I don't think Rudock should start .....just saying he had the better day.

I liked when Derby ran down the LB who picked hum off... McCall is a beast and Canzari(sp?) has a good burst. He would make a good change of pace. I did not see too much of Johnson this year.

Rudock was going against the 3's and 4's. Also, as I said to a few people around me, he took more deep shots than anyone...because he has less to lose. Derby and Wienke are in reality the two battling for the backup job...so they were looking to put money in the bank where Rudock was going for broke.

I like what I see in him, but doubt we see it this year

I thought James looked pretty good today. I was more pleased with the secondary than anything. Still concerned about the defensive front. Also, Rudock did look good, but I thought Derby looked the better of the two between himself and Wienke.

This is the first Vandy doubt I've heard thus far so I'll disregard it for now. If he looks like JC6 in his first few starts we're in trouble. I've heard nothing but encouraging observations though. Time will tell. I believe he'll be more than we could have hoped for.

If Rudock is forced to play a lot this fall, that means a losing record. He's not even close to being ready.

I wish they would move Derby to another position. What a waste of talent

Ruddock looked every bit 6' 1" and 185 lbs. Needs to definitely beef up.

The thing I most liked about Stanzi(other than his usual coolness under pressure) was his work ethic. Hopefully, Jake will have that. If so, Doyle will take care of the rest. The kid seems to have the "intangiables" and had good prep coaching we just need to give him time and let his body grow into a D.1A QB's.

Ok, I wasn't saying Ruddock should start anytime in the next two years, just was saying that Vandy seemed to be forcing alot of throws . Ruddock was going against backups but still looked very comfortable for a TF.
